Hi,
are there any 'single Bars' in Singapore, i.e. Bars where you are most likely meet other Singles? No one wants to go out alone

if you HAD someone to go out with, then i guess it wont be considered "going out alone". I can relate to what u are saying tho cos it seems like everybody has someone on their arm... really depends what you are looking for.. one gathers that there is no such thing as a singles bar here, they do have speed dating if u r into that, then its luck of the draw at any bar.. go and check out the wimin.
Its just as hard for us girls... we would like to go out and hang out but how to do so when people to hang out with are few and far between and how does a lone woman go to a bar and not be seen as 'fodder' for the prey?

u right.. miss those bars where you could just pop in alone.. and by the time you left, you knew couples new pals with whom you agreed to meet up tomorrow nite..
tried to clubbing alone here.. and there were two scenarios.. nobody approach you - only looking at you strangely (no matter locals or expats).. or couples people approach you thinking you are spg (since im asian woman).. damn. never go alone again

completely agree-- seems like nothing. wish there was a place with normal expat/local women, not looking to go home with a guy, for neither immediate nor long-term money, just to meet others and have a good time.
I've just ruled out bars as a place for meeting women. stickin to work and chance.

yeah, it's sux to be a single in singapore. everytime you go out alone, unless you really need to buy something or so, you will find that it's much better stay at home or indoor.
Scorpion gal on lookout,...maybe
