Need to find Organic Lactose Free Toddler Milk - Help!

Post by mules » Thu, 12 Nov 2009 9:56 am

My 14 month son likely has a lactose intolerance.

He has all the signs - I'll spare you the details.

I've had him on Bellamy's Organic Toddler milk (stage 3), and I need to switch him to a lactose free/low lactose alternative.

I've found Baby's Only Organic (Lactose Free) by Natures One as a potentially suitable brand. Does anyone know where i can buy this or other similiar formulas.

Another person suggested Nutramigen for intolerance or allergy. Any ideas where i can buy these quickly?

At 14 Months why don't you switch him to a regular lactose free milk ( found some in market place) in which you add some cereals complement ( the trick being to find some thats's dairy free) in case you're worrying about iron and stuff ?

Could be an alternative?

thanks, good suggestion.

I had tried him on uht full cream organic milk but he rejected it. i thought because he didn't like the texture of full cream milk going from being breastfed at 12 months to real milk. Now I realise it may be the intolerance which led to the rejection.

was the milk uht or fresh you suggest?
