Palm Centro

Post by VegasGuy » Wed, 11 Nov 2009 5:26 am

Hi Everyone,

My wife loves her Palm Centro mainly because of the easy to use daily planner, and is pretty set on keeping a Palm (ideally, her current one) for her cell phone needs once we move to Singapore next month. Based on all the big 3 (StarHub, SingTel, and M1) websites, I’m not finding any of them advertising Palm phones. Has anyone used a Palm phone in Singapore?

Insider her phone, it ironically says “for use in Singapore,”

There is nothing inherent in a Palm phone that would make it unusable in Singapore. You just need a phone that works on the right GSM frequencies and is unlocked.

Are you coming from the US, presumably, since you're "Vegas Guy"?

It would have to be a Centro used on T-Mobile or AT&T, since Verizon and Sprint/Nextel don't support GSM.
