Can anyone suggest a place where I can pickup a used bicycle?

Cold Storage has advertisment posting boards. Bikes regularly come up for sale if you look for them.

The Trek shop on Tanglin Road has a terrific selection of bikes in a pretty wide range of prices.

Trek is a great company!

On Wisconsin!

Treknology is not run by and in fact has nothing to do with Trek, other than a similar name (and yes, they do have Trek bikes, among many others).

I didn't know that. Still a nice bike shop. . .

And I do like the Trek product line. And Johnsonville Bratwurst, Miller Lite, Organic Valley dairy products, Johnson Controls, Harley Davidson motorcycles, Mercury Marine outboard motors, and the great Milwaukee Brewers.

There's 50 states in the US, but 1 matters most to me!

Go Badgers!!

I don't know the name, but there is a site that is the SG Expats equivalent for cyclists. They had the best selection of 2nd hand bikes that I've found in SG. I found them via a person who double posted an ad on ebay.com.sg - so look there. Other classifed sites in SG are not that great for bikes.

If you are after a cheap one just as a casual run around, you could try either Giant or Carrefour
