Tattoo Shop Recommendation
My advice is that if you want to buy a work of art then chose the artist whose style *you* like rather than one that others like. Remember you want a painting on yourself that is beautiful, and that is just as important (maybe more important) as finding somewhere clean or with latest equipment. It is very personal taste as to what is a 'good' or 'bad' artist. Some love Dali, some hate. Choose the style that you want on your skin permanently.
It is still important to avoid artists who can't tattoo. A basic thing like a circle with these people soon looks like an egg. A great tattoo artist can do almost everything and impress. An average or poor artist can't do anything but the old fashioned anchor tattoo and they still suck at that. So I believe that the OP can use this thread as a guide to who is the best here on the red dot and go visit them and see where their specialty isabbym wrote:My advice is that if you want to buy a work of art then chose the artist whose style *you* like rather than one that others like. Tattoo Shop In Singapore
From my honest point of view & experience of where will be the best tattoo shops here in Singapore with great family-oriented customer service, yes the latest tattoo equipment and of course all are sterilized and of course they gave they give the best advise of what is best for us on all kind matter related to tattooing.
I did my first tattoo and now it has become one full sleeve at RiseAbove Tattoo & Piercing @ Far East
And yes I have been visiting the same shop over and over again because of the professional service they provide plus the experience of the tattoo artist of more than 12 - 15 years and yes the price the are affordable too. Unlike some offering more than SGD400-1K for just a palm size or double.
So if you have any kind of doubts or queries you may visit their facebook page.

I hope it helps.
