A friend of mine and I are setting up reasonably Mandarin classes for Mummys to learn Mandarin alongside their baby, toddler or child.
Based in Orchard, the classes will be run by 2 teachers from mainland China (better accents than Singaporean Mandarin speakers), one of whom is a trained kindergarten teacher. Lessons will be structured but the setting informal, friendly and fun. The accompanying adult will be given a handout recapping the days’ key words (written in pinyin) in order to reinforce it at home, which is crucial if the child is to really pick up the language, tones and sounds properly.
There will be a maximum of 8 children per class.
Schedule:
Babies (6 months - 1.5 yrs)
Toddlers (1.5yrs - 2.5 yrs)
Kids (2.5 yrs and up)
Price: $20 per session (if you sign up for a term)
$30 per session (pay-per-class rate)
