Actually, in one of the PM's recent speeches I believe he indicated that more and more it will be come the norm. Now, prior to 1988, when the SM was the PM it was frowned upon. (In the days when I got married here (early '80's).

When I was first courting Mrs S back in the early 90s, the amount of stares and frowns we would get while working through Parkway was incredible but 9 years on it's part of the norm as SMS says.

I would say 90% of my 'western' mates down my local watering hole are from interracial relationships which is one of the reasons we like the place!
