Coming to Singapore from Europe

Hello all,

I m coming to singapore in january2010. I am black asian 33yrs lived and worked for last 10 yrs in europe ( Germany, switzerland , netherlands). Now I got a permanent position in singapore. Obviously being single I would like to find a woman for love or may be more.

Is there any possibility in singapore to get a girl friend? Obviously race. color does not matter for me

How difficult would it be to find a girl friend in singapore for Asians ?

Hey durain,
Dont write crap.. I m not here to find women to get laid.... Obviously ur mind is one way traffic thinking about getting laid with women. If thats what women are all about then go to thailand for 10 euro u will get laid,,,

I m old enough to respect a woman and as I already wrote I will look for a woman not to get laid but more ..love n marriage.

Next time I hope u will apply your common sense before writing some crap ,

Talking about crap...I guess your common sense was just doing good when you asked this question or perhaps Asian minority in Europe just has this overwhelming impression that Singapore girls want to and actually can date non-Asians only?

I'm not really sure what kind of answer you're expecting here. Interracial relationships are mildly unusual in Singapore and not exactly encouraged, but they're certainly tolerated. Yes, there are ladies in Singapore who will refuse to date you because of the color of skin; there are also ladies in Singapore who don't care, and even a few who will actively seek you out.

Out of curiosity, what do you mean by "black Asian" though? Of mixed African/Indian descent?

U got it wrong again. I never told I am looking for a singaporean girl. Well I will look for a girl in singapore and for me doesn't matter whether she is asian, european, african or american..

For your info I m still asian so the question of singaporeans dating nonasians do not apply in my case.

Regarding my color I m srilankan tamil and obviously my skin color is dark like africans. Thats why I used the word black asian

Hopefully everything is clear now.

There is no "Asian" category in Singapore. The four official races are Chinese, Malay, Indian and Other, and like it or not, you'll be lumped into "Indian". As Indians make up around 5-6% of Singapore's population, the vast majority of them Tamil at that, you'll find plenty of kindred spirits here. Your dating opportunities outside this little societally enforced box will be limited, but not non-existent. Enjoy the hunt

Absolutely u look as good as anybody else. By the way as far as I know most women dont look into your face..Obviously u need to be smart. I have seen many hot chicks with ugly boy friends...
