NO CPF for 5 months now

Post by aloyscious » Thu, 29 Oct 2009 2:33 pm

Hi there...

I am a P.R. here...my company is a small company of about 10 ppl.

We have not been receiving our CPF for almost 5 months now...coming up is 5 months...

What should i do now? My boss always say will pay but not too sure when he will pay.

I have also just recently resigned from my job because of this CPF problem. Anyone who can help me out?

Thank you!!! :???:

Report it to the authorities. From what you say it seems like the company has run out of money and thus your boss is not paying your CPF contributions any more. I would also look for a lawyer and get that outstanding claimed in the small claims tribunal or whatever court is responsible before the company burns even more cash. It will be a dash for the cash before the company goes bankrupt.

Go straight to the nearest CPF office and report the company immediately. Do not delay for a moment. The company is probably going to wind up if they have already started screwing the employees behind their backs. I'd do it 1st thing tomorrow morning. I'd be there waiting for the office to open.

You could be getting screwed two ways. One, employer is not paying employer share of CPF. Two, employer has deducted employee CPF from your check but has not paid it to CPF. You get doubled screwed.

First, log in, check you account. Then get down there in the morning.
