Singapore Landed PR Application
Thanks Crypto. I applied few weeks ago and looking at your posts I think it is gonna be a long long wait.. I applied for myself with my wife. Looking at other posts as well I do not have confidence any more... I am also Shanghai based and currently working in one of big MNCs.
Btw, what happened with your application then? Already approved?

Hi,
I think so. It is going to be long way for LPR final outcome.
I have been waiting for 2 years. So far no final outcome yet. Currently, Me an my wife are holding individual EP and working in Singapore. My Daughter is holding Dependent pass.
Actually you can check your LPR status online 24/7. Here is the link for you https://ienquiry.ica.gov.sg/index.do

Hi guys, first post here
After reading this thread, I dig up my old emails from early 2010. It has been 20 months or so since I applied for LPR.
The last news I heard from ICA (they send it to my Singapore address eventhough I applied from my home country, man their network is good) is on June 17th 2011, saying that "The matter is still under consideration".
Well I have worked in Singapore for almost 9 months now, don't know whether this LPR application process is still ongoing or, as some people said, it is automatically converted to PR application (which I believe will be a hopeless case as I have not stayed in Singapore for even 1 year
)
anyway, cheers!
update: fun fact, i got my PR approved 1 day after i post this message

Hi LW,
Until now i did not get final outcome from ICA yet.
I wrote an email to ICA 3 weeks ago regarding about i can not check my application status from iEnquiry. ICA reply saying that my application is still processed and will notify you once your application is finalised. In addition, i can not able to check the status via iEnquiry.
How about your application can able to check at iEnquiry?
Any advise will be much appreciated.

LPR approved
Hi, my LPR was approved 3 weeks ago. I put in the applicatiion in April 2010 - so total of approx 17 months.
My case was a little different though. I was previously a PR holder - my PR lapsed as I had to move out of Singapore for various reasons. I moved back here with a job end of last year.
Hi,
I just realized that ICA has been changed my LPR application to PR application after I got a job in Singapore since DEC 2009. My LPR application was applied on July 2009.
Now My PR application is still pending......almost 22 months.
Any advise please???
Hi,
I got my LPR approval last month. I'm still living in my home country. Would you please tell me what to do first while I arrive Singapore? Should I go to MOM to get a EP or ICA to get a LTSVP before looking for a job?
