I've been trying to find an answer to this but getting nowhere. I saw a great bed on sale at Pottery Barn Kids... The beds I'm looking at here are ridiculously expensive - so I'm curious if sea shipment from the states might be better? I may be completely off the mark... but would love to know if anyone has experience with this.

So many places here can copy it for less than the cost of the shipping & the bed, and in much less time. I'd have it done here. Not exactly the answer you wanted...

Even better! Could you forward any info? The only people I know who have had furniture made have been reluctant to pass on the names b/c they weren't pleased.

Eric at Hor Cane has copied Pot Barn bookcases for me & Biggie Best/Danovel at Tanglin Shopping Centre can doit too. No contact info with me, I'm traveling. I would be clear about the measurements of course (US or Asian size) and be sure they make it with enough room to fit the mattress comfortably, with the bedding with a tolerance of a few centimeters around the the perimeter to ease making the actual making of the bed. Does that make sense?

Yes, yes - thank you! Have been to BB several times to check out linens and fabric coverings - but didn't realize they do furniture made to order. Will definitely check both those out. Thx.

Never heard of this brand.
I just get adult size tables and chairs because they grow out too fast, waste of money to buy kids sizes.
