Should I Stay or Should I go?

Post by Sean Moran » Tue, 27 Oct 2009 6:16 pm

Changi Airport outside by the runway has always been my very favourite stopover, but Iḿ yet to ever leave the airport. Approximately 1-2 hours would be the longest Iǘe ever had the pleasure to look out upon the tropical sunrise on a quiet ledge at the east end of Harryś Bar, but from a foreign perspective, I have a feeling that there is more to Singapore than just the globally unbeatablle views as you come in for landing.

If one was to come into some kind of self-sustaining income over these coming weeks, and wanted to further the ASEAN cause with the volunteer work, then which out of Chanthaburi in Thailand or Cebu in The Philippines would you choose to take the next flight and complete your TEFL course. or would Singapore be a more pleasant axis to those and the other ASEAN geographically oriented participants?

Just had a quick glance on low-rise apartments in Changi and The Lighthouse, as a rough glimpse, but no monthly costs listed, and I´d hazard a guess I can't afford Singapore as even a rental, but crossing the Equator is always worth a stopover; an holiday in itself.
