'full day care' for a 15 mnth old toddler...

Post by mrshamilton » Mon, 26 Oct 2009 4:41 pm

We are an Aussie family relocating to Singapore in November. We're not sure about going down the nanny/helper/maid route yet, and want to give our son some consistency (he's been in 3 day a week 'daycare' here in Australia since 6 mnths old). He's now 15 mnths old and goes stir crazy if he doesn't get intensive play / reading / music every day - trust me, I think we will need a very athletic nanny if we ever go there!

We will be staying in Tiong Bahru for our first month and then possibly relocate to Holland.

Does anyone know any full-day care options? We won't have a car, but will be happy to walk / commute to drop him off. I'm interested in Steiner / Montessori

I'm presuming we will be arriving 'mid-semester'...
Many thanks

you can check out The Thinking Box. It's at Tanglin Shopping Centre and the class sizes for little ones are very small. i think they have a full-day option 9am-5pm but you'll need to double check with them www.thethinkingbox.com.sg
