My solicitor wants S$1,100 to set up my CPF mortgage repayments to DBS bank.
I have spoken to the bank & they are fine to accept the payments but apparently I need a Solicitor to liaise with CPF on setting this up, he has quoted me S$1,100 for this service.
This sounds like a rip off to me, does anyone have any experience of this?
all inputs appreciated.

ask around for a few more quotations if u felt ripped off
however be wary of cheap quotations as it may look like a good deal at first. wait till you get your final bill! note the time costs n do peruse the details and what falls under miscellaneous costs in your invoice
