Does anyone know a place where you can buy a used or refurbished labtop? I just need for Internet and Skype so it doesn't have to be the latest model.... If anyone of you have one for sale let me know

Me, fail English?
But nooo, that's unpossible....

Sim Lim Square has quite a few second hand equipment shops on the upper floors, usually in the back, away from the atrium.
You'll pay more that way... and maybe not get all software loaded. You might check the classifieds here...

Watch out for dealers disguised as private sellers, you may have to wait to find a good deal, test out the equipment, verify what software you get... some people show you the PC, then wipe it before giving it to you... a bummer... and negotiate.

As SE mentioned there are some outlets in SLS but I found their pricing not really reasonable. I was looking for something better than P3 (same thing: Internet only) in the range of SGD250-350 and eventually bought one hp P4mobile/14"/1GB/40MB/hdd/wifi etc. from a local ebay seller. Another place to check is vr-zone/hardwarezone classified. I've seen many reasonably looking deals over there.

Apple sells refurbished products (including laptops) at phenomenal prices in their online store. Did that myself three years ago and my macbook pro is still running like it did on the first day. Not a scratch or scuff mark on it either.
