Sales job in Singapore by market surveyor?

Post by Jay Gu » Sun, 18 Oct 2009 1:22 pm

I was approached by a market Surveyor while shopping yesterday and was asked to go for interview. Its an event Sales company which is promoting for Credits, Telco and Charities. The person who approached me told me they are looking for PR and Singaporean only and the pay is expected to be $1600 - $2500. Does anyone here has been approached by these surveyors before? Is it worthed giving a try? Please advise, the pay really sounds attractive to me.

Hi Jay,

I guess that offer is quite attractive and maybe you could give it a try. I'm also planning for a change of job line. Is it possible for you to give me the contact number of the marketing surveyor?

Thanks.

Beware. Gift-horses in Singapore usually have a scam attached. I'm not saying it's not valid, but it sounds like a Recruitment Company who has a contract to supply labour and you will probably be paid on an hourly temp staff rate. You might only work one week and then be out of a job.

If you can earn 500 in one week, then they can advertise a rate of 1800-2500/month. It's probably piece-work rated as well. But, have a look but keep you eyes open and your ears finely tunes to the nuances.
