Marketing Companies in Singapore - Looking for Internship

Post by lumi » Fri, 16 Oct 2009 3:54 pm

Could anyone list the marketing companies that they know of in Singapore, please. I am looking for a marketing internship and would like ot get my CV out there. I will use google to try and find some but I am sure there are many that won't come up on my search hence my request for help!

Also, if anyong could suggest employment agencies which are more likely to deal with entry level marketing jobs that would be great.

Thank-you! :D

Most, if not all, entry level marketing jobs would not be available to foreigners as there are sufficient local graduates (degrees & diplomas) to fill the positions. While a company MIGHT want to hire a foreigner for a position for some reason, it would be nigh impossible to get approval from MOM for someone without experience. This is especially so since they have tightened up on entry now for S, Q & P2 employment passes since early September.

I guess it would still be possible to get an internship so you might as well give it a try. But, please, don't put all your eggs in one basket as the odds, at the moment, are heavily stacked against you (from the government position - not the employers' position).

I've applied for a WHP from MOM which is availabel to Australian students. It will allow me to work in any job for up to 6 months in Singapore and think it will be approved without problem. So I won't have nay problem with getting a visa to work legally, it's just a matter of getting hired by a company.
