Most, if not all, entry level marketing jobs would not be available to foreigners as there are sufficient local graduates (degrees & diplomas) to fill the positions. While a company MIGHT want to hire a foreigner for a position for some reason, it would be nigh impossible to get approval from MOM for someone without experience. This is especially so since they have tightened up on entry now for S, Q & P2 employment passes since early September.
I guess it would still be possible to get an internship so you might as well give it a try. But, please, don't put all your eggs in one basket as the odds, at the moment, are heavily stacked against you (from the government position - not the employers' position).
