Yes, they both lead to a site selling supplements. The first link has this info

"5-Hydroxy Tryptophan or 5-HTP is a forerunner to the neurotransmitter serotonin, which transfers nerve impulses from one cell to another and regulates several vital processes in the body, including sleep, emotional stability, pain sensitivity and addictive cravings. Unlike serotonin alone, 5-HTP can cross the blood-brain barrier."

Seems like a valid link to me. Or am I missing something?

5htp, it works

Post by TinaA » Thu, 29 Oct 2009 5:14 am

Greetings all

5htp works, and it works fast, within 2 days you begin to feel the difference.

I use it for insomnia and in the worried periods, I am a 44 year woman. I use it for my teenager, he is going through a difficult time, and he love this "harmless" medicine. Harmless if you dont exeed the dose, and then its not a cemical medicine.

I strongly suggest you to try it out, it will not harm you.

Kind regards
Tina
