children's entry permit

Post by erpe » Sat, 10 Oct 2009 3:45 pm

hi all mommies,
our 4 yo son is holding a Long Term Social Visit, though my hubby and I are PR. We hold it up, thinking that we might go back to our home country in the future, so he will not obliged to serve the National Service. But with his Social Visit status, it is more difficult for him to go into local school.
Does anyone have the same situation? Kindly gimme a thought...
thanks. :D

You will have to exchange the LTSVP for a Student Pass. Schooling will be more expensive (but it's relative dependent on whether or not you put him in the local or International School systems. The local system is still inexpensive compared to the cheapest of the International Schools. But only you can decide which way to go.
