What's interesting though are are viewer stats for Fox & Beck in particular. They may well be the fog or bull of the loony right, but if that's the case, there's are hell of a lot of them out there who are fed up with the 'crats. Guess that's why Fox's rating are so far ahead of everybody else. What's good for the world is not necessarily good for the US though. Even Becks book are being snatched of the shelves as fast as they are printing them. It took the other loony to knock him off the number one spot. (Palin) and it's not even printed yet.

I like to think of Fox, and Beck in particular, as a nighttime soap opera. Rupert is laughing all the way to the bank.

What you say is true . . . and how scary is it that Palin's book is number one . . . and this troglodyte is number two. Just think of the stereotypes that are cast aside by this phenomena . . . their fans can READ! It boggles the mind.

I see only four positive aspects to all this:

1) FAUXNews may be number one in the ratings, but their viewership is only 3 million, out of a population of 300 million . . . (Ok, I know they have radio shows as well)

2) These lunatics are forcing the Republican party to reinvent itself and finally break with the ever closer ties with the far right bible-thumping lot.

3) Still waiting for Hannity to have waterboarding done as he claims it is harmless and that he will run for the presidency.

4) Over half of the show's advertisers cancelled their ad space because of Beck . . . mainly due to his screams of "Obama hates white people"

Honestly, isn't it about time that the electorate sends a definite message that dragging the US ever further to the right is actually counter-productive . . . and that all the shouts of Obama being a communist, socialist etc... is just as much bunk as the accusations of him being Muslim, anti-white etc...

Actually, from what the peons have heard in the US is the White House has the advertisers scared with threats. "O" even has statements to the effects of turn in your neighbour if they say anything bad or negative about the health care reforms. Sounds almost like the Brown Shirts of 1937~39 doesn't it?

Interesting turn of phrase there. Especially in view of the fact that during the US's Prayer Day, the president, unlike all other presidents, did NOT go to church but stayed in the White House all day. BUT yesterday actually participated in a Deepavali Prayer session. I'll be that went over big time in the Bible Belt! They are still smarting over the Prayer Day slight. (Especially in view of the fact that most think he's still a Muslim. (Granted I don't think he ever was, but the average person assumes that because he was in a madrasa he's a Muslim). Course heis association with the radical Rev. Wright didn't help the comparisons either. He sure knows how to make friends with the local electorate! NOT! He's much better at kowtowing to the foreign heads of state.

Here you and I agree 100%. If we would get rid of ALL septuagenarian or older we'd be much better off and maybe they would try thinking about our country instead of just how to appease just enough of they voters to get re-elected. You'd see a very different health care bill if THEY had to also fall under it's purview. But, when you don't have to live under the draconian measures yourself, it's easy to say penalize them peons for this, tax them for that. Yeah, make it an automatic retirement once they obtain 65 just like the do for the poor working stiff. And that goes for BOTH parties.

Glen Beck - That's the one. He's pretty freaky alright. More scary is that there are people in America who take him serious enough that he's on TV. Watching him is like watching an accident, your horrified but want to see what happens next. Let's hope O'Rielly takes him out.
