HAIRDRESSERS GOOD AT BLONDE?

Post by impossiblekitten » Wed, 07 Oct 2009 3:48 pm

Hi!

I'm just about to move to singapore and I am very worried about finding a hairdresser that is good with blonde hair!

Can anyone recommend anywhere?

We got lots of Chinese with read & blondish hair here so no problem. Course I no longer have any hair at all but that's another story. Of course their blonde hair is like most blondes from western countries as well (mostly out of a bottle).

I recommend Sky at Essentials toni & guy. Price is reasonable and he does a GREAT job. You can find him at Orchard Central, B1-20.

Alas, there's a fairly massive difference in the thickness of Asian hair and the real Viking... been to a couple of barber shops here where the scissors quite literally don't cut it, because there's a bit too much gap between the blades and thin ang moh hair bends before it breaks.

I used to go to salon named NEXT in holland village to Jack but he now works in Tanglin mall in other salon. Also in the same Holland village's NEXT Jason did my blond highlights. I can recommend them.

I go to Rouge in Tanglin, it is a great place for caucasian hair, they definitely know what they're doing in terms of color.
