giving birth in Singapore

I have a visitors visa for 2 yrs in Singapore and was planning to give birth to my child there. Will my child get the singapore citizenship if this is done?

As you say 'there' rather than 'here' implies you don't actually current reside 'here' but rather over 'there' where ever that maybe.
