Ooh S.E. he might get scared away!
Be nice to him. Let's see what he can do for us?!
Ok 'new-boy' with questionable handle, WHY is this country's National Anthem sung in Malay? (Yeah yeah I know).
Are all the locals happy and proud to sing this song no matter what their ethnicity? (This I don't know).

Take it all easy and not get offended too quickly. Expats including myself tend to criticize Singapore and locals get sometimes offended but in 99% of the cases this is just misunderstanding. Criticizing does not mean saying that something is worse or inferior. Usually means that something is different to what we got used to and we are all conditioned by our own cultures. Sometimes I just can't help myself. You may want to read the thread on culture shock but again, do not take some opinions expressed there too personal or better say nationalistic.
