short term accommodation

Post by chris66 » Sun, 04 Oct 2009 3:37 pm

Hi All,

I am looking for a short term Serviced Apartment within the central region of Singapore. Expected duration of stay in Singapore is about 2months starting from Nov 2009.

Since I am working on a R&D project, I am hoping to allocate SD $1000 for the accommodation. Interested to know if there s anyone whose able to advise on this.

I have searched on shared accommodation as well but am not so sure of I would like to share.

Kindly advise if such a budget figure is practical.

You are unlikely to find a Service Apartment for only $1000, most are easily 3x that for a single room.

If you take a really cheap hotel, let's say at $70 per night you're still paying ~$2.5k and you may be able to negotiate a bit of a discount for a 2-month stay. Other than that, for $1000 and for only two months, a share might be best and only bet.
