Maybe a silly question, but are all the facilities ie tennis courts, gym, swimming pool, billard rooms, kids playroom at a
condo included in the rental price or are each additional costs you have to pay for even when a tennant at these places?
I assumed they would be free for residents at the condo but my wife didnt think so.....

They are usually included or available for booking at a nominal fee (like $1 per hour), so people do not hog the tennis courts and invite all their friends over. Pool, sauna and gym are usually for free though. BBQ pits are sometimes free, sometimes require a deposit that you get back afterwards... So yeah, most of the things are free (pool, gym, playground, sauna) while others need a booking with a booking fee like $1 which is negligible in my opinion.

Many
condos have different policies. You will need to check.
I doubt the rental covers payment (if required) to use the facility.
Normally they are free to use if you are a resident. However, you may need to pay a deposit for some facility. I remember I had to put in a deposit of $20 (refundable) to use th BBQ facility. This is due to limited pits and so that you clean up after that.
I work to live and not live to work.

At our
condo, tennis courts, gym and pool are all free but there is a nominal charge of $25 for use of a BBQ pit plus a $50 deposit in case you break any of the unlimited tables and chairs you can use.

Buying a condo in Singapore
Replies: 11
First post
Does it make more sense to buy a condo in Singapore rather than to pay rent to the landlords?
Last post
I already own - the issue is that this distorts the market unevenly. It swings to the market towards the new units and away from the resale units.
