Shipping a Motorcycle as part of relocation

Post by Jordya » Sat, 03 Oct 2009 10:39 pm

Hello- My company is paying for my relocation and supplying a 40ft shipping container. In exploring this idea a bit, I am considering buying a motorcycle here in the USA to either ride it in Singapore or sell it for profit as there seems to be a premium on good motorcycles. I am looking for advice or opinions on this idea and if anyone has done something similar.

the premium really depends on what sort of motorcycle it is, and at best, your profit might be rather marginal.

the process of self-registering a bike in singapore is difficult... this blog might help you run through it...

Good luck. Tell me what you think you might want to do after reading about importing motorcycles here: http://www.onemotoring.com.sg/publish/o ... rcycle.pdf
