I am trying to buy a BBQ (Gas) here in Singapore without getting burned,
All the ones I have seen are about 3 times the price of the US and OZ!
Anyone know where I can go without getting ripped off?

Welcome to Singapore Gas BBQs are very expensive here, there's a place at 2nd Avenue Junction where they are maybe twice the price, hardly good news I know. Sorry but one more thing to add, their lifespan is significantly shorter because of the humidity. Wish I had better news, of wait ~ I do! The gas is very cheap and it can be delivered to your place in 20 minutes.

I was on a business trip to USA and brought mine back as check in baggage - got to Singapore customs and went to the red lane, fully expecting to pay something - at least sales tax - but they just asked what it was (big pile of boxes as a 3 burner with rotisserie) when I told them, they just waved me thru - good old SQ only charged me $SG 100 to bring it over - The gas supplier I have gives me gas bottles with the US fitting so no problem. Other than - as RNT stated - they do not last very long, compared to when I was in California - also if you need any spares you may have a problem. But they are hellish expensive here and I use mine a lot - in fact - BBQ tonight
