TV in singapore

Hi, moving to Singapore in January, have plenty of space in my allowance so will bring a few TV's need to know if they will work, I understand if using cable this should be OK, moving from UK

they shld work, unless they have a technology never used in singapore before.

Both Singapore and the UK use PAL, so the TVs themselves will work. But you'll need to get new cable boxes, and remember that satellite dishes are outlawed :roll:

hehe, yeah the boxes wouldnt work in singapore unless u'd got a hacked box. :shock:

doesn't pay to bring TV from UK, they are so cheap here! and there is the risk of damage on the way, not worth the hassle
