Hi all,
We have moved to Singapore about 10 days ago.I have a three year old daughter(nearly four). We have decided to place her in NPS Intl School,as we may be relocating to India after a few years. But before deciding finally,I wanted your opinions.Though the school seems great, the fees seems a bit high, along with the deposit etc...
From what I have found, its very difficult to get into Local schools for non-singaporeans/non-PRs.
We have already found an apt in ECP(Bayshore Road). So just wanted to know if there are any other options for my daughter around this area.
Please get back with your valuable suggestions.I want to place my daughter in a school as soon as possible. She's getting really frustrated sitting at home everyday.
Thanks for your help!

Preschool suggestions for my three year old
We have two of my kids going to NPS too (We live in Costa Del Sol on Bayshore road too) but they are bit older. (Class 4 and 3).
So far we are very happy with the school. Yes, its a bit expensive. I can't comment on how good will be the pre-primary section.
You can also look at GIIS - East campus. Even DPS is not so far from Bayshore area. Buses for all these schools come to Bayshore area.

Thanks,HG for the prompt reply.I have read ur earlier posts regarding NPS.I got a good impression after visiting the campus. It just hope it works out well for my daughter, then it would be well worth it.I have opted for the Montessori . Really anxious about this.
I have heard that NPS Bangalore is very academic oriented.Does the same apply here as well.Do they lay stress on extra-curr activities also?

Yes, NPS Bangalore is really focused on Academics but so far I have not found the SG branch to be like that. They do a fair bit of extra-cals too.
With a 3 year old, you don't worry too much. All schools once beyond a certain standard for good enough. Just relax and enjoy as your daughter starts to like the place - give it some time
