Hi there
I just discovered the 30min call cards this week. However can't get it to work, what code did you dial after entering the pin?

Hi Bobs, thks!

PatSing, you call 4478 and the other UK numbers or 4487 depending on whether its a mobile or landline.

I just found out that calling cards bought at post offices offer u more value for money - u buy a $10 Worldcard and instead of 30 mins to UK, that u usually get, u get 40 mins - an extra 10 mins.

i've no idea what cards you are buying but i can buy either the XT2 cards or the "9" cards for 10 dollars and to a UK landline it is 400 minutes, mobile yes is way shorter.
I use them to call Ireland and i get 300 minutes.

When you go to the money lenders/newsagent places to buy them, they usually have sheets wiht how many minutes you get to each country. You will lose a few minutes on the connection charge, i.e. if you phone , a machine answers, you hang up, you maybe lose about 5 minutes but certainly better than the 30 mins you are getting!
