I couldn't disagree more. It is better to force people for their retirement (and pls keep in mind you can use your CPF also for your mortgage and children's education) than them spending everything in their younger years and when they are retiring they are depending on the government and benefits to pay for their living. CPF is a leading example for every other country on this planet.

Fully agree, it's a great system and one of the area the "advanced" welfare states should adapt instead of supporting an old system which is collapsing.
