Hi,
where would you go for holiday with 2 kids: 28 month old and 9 month old? We usually go back home for Christmas but decided to stay in Singapore this year and go somewhere around. We have been to Bintan already and didn't like it.

How about Disneyland in Hong Kong? We were just there with our 20 month year old this August. He loved it despite the heat, but the weather should be perfect there in December - nice and cool. Stay at the resort - it's wonderful for all ages!

thats a little young dont u think? They wont enjoy the trip let alone remember it. I'd rather you put the money in a savings account to let them travel when they are young adults. Speaking from personal experience here.

If you definitely want to take them somewhere, Disneyland HK would definitely be an ideal choice to satisfy both the older and younger one. Of coures the 9 month year old will not remember the trip really, but he/she will not remember anywhere you really go. At least, both kids will be stimulated and the resort has a great pool, indoor/outdoor play areas. They can meet the characters at breakfast which is always fun to see their reactions!

Not sure about weather at Christmas time but Phuket is wonderful.
We stayed at Le Meridien and also Marriott Beach Club which were superb. The accommodation at the Marriott is luxurious and big - 2 bedroom apartments.
Le Meridien is older, but location is good as it's only 5 minutes drive into Patong. Junior Suites should accommodate you all comfortably.

We also loved the Marriott Beach Club - very spacious and kids loved it. Also really loved the Shangri-la in Kota Kinabalu - the ocean wing is fantastic and the room is so large - could easily fit you all. We went there from Dec 26 - Jan 1 last year and loved it. (Rainy season but only rained one day and not for long).
