Post by flybys » Wed, 16 Sep 2009 5:07 pm

Hi,

I recently moved to SG and am looking for some place to take my toddler.

does anyone know of any good classes for young kids? - maybe music or drama or something which my kid can enjoy...

Hi there, welcome to Singapore.

My daughter loves going to her school, she is coming to 4yrs old this Dec.

Try Growing Up Gifted (GUG), Kindermusik, Julia Gabriel....she has been to all these schools and currently in GUG.

How old is the toddler? We send ours to gymboree, Centre Stage Arts and and Rubins Boogie Bug on Saturdays.

Its the gymboree classes that she keeps begging to go back to.

Hi there I checked out the trial at Stage & Such with my toddler today. I really liked it and so did she. We signed up with them. I went for Julia Gabriel but their timetables are very rigid. These guys have a package system where you pick and choose classes (including playgroup/water play/swimming) and the facilities are real sweet. Price wise about $34-$35 a class so quite okay.

You may want to check out shools that are near where you stay, it
will help to save you from driving all over the island if the school is far away.

play and learn class for your child

You can try Gymboree, it is located at Harbour Front Centre, 3rd floor near mothercare.
I send my kids there for Play and learn and music. They like it very much. The classes are good. I especially like the parties they organise.
you can call them to enquire at 6271 1545.
Apparently they are having some promo, sign up for classes and get 2 free classes.
Hope you will find a class for your child
