Anyone out there with any great Serviced Apartments recommendations. We have a 3 and 1 year old. Things to do are really important.

Cheers

Our company have recommended us the Great World Serviced Apartments as it is very family oriented.

Good Luck!

spend up to $7500, deciding between Great world, Treetops, Fraser, Redwood and Lotus at Joo Chiat, as you can see I have gotten myself very confused! We will be looking for a house on the east coast and pre-school etc...
Cheers

For a 1 and 3 year old I Great World City or Treetops would be ideal:

Great World City
Located above a mall that has a good super market, cinema, there is a place called My Gym - kind of like a Gymboree - organic grocery, butcher, wine shop, fast food, across from large hawker center, taxi stand... etc.

Inside the serviced apt facility there is an indoor playground and very large outdoor pool, tennis courts... etc, etc.

Treetops
This has more of a resort type of feel - right off of Orchard Road and very close to both the Forum (which has an indoor playground - free with a $10 two year membership purchase), lots of children's stores (ELC, Toys R Us) and also close to Tanglin Mall which is an expat haven for mom's with Tots. Great supermarket, children's activities (Kindermusik, Gymboree), clothing stores, organic market...etc.

Both would be pretty similar distance to East Coast (about a 15-20 min taxi)... personally I would probably pick Treetops over GWC for the little ones... but GWC does have a really good indoor play area and that is very convenient. The Treetops pool feels more like a resort and is within walking distance to Botanical Gardens (about 10 mins).

I like the Treetops. The rooms gives me a very cosy feeling. Shopping is within walking distance.

Not too sure about Great World cos I have not stayed there. But one good point is that the shopping is just below. Very convenient. Shopping, grocery shopping, movies.. etc

I stayed at Treetops in my first month and can recommend it. Great staff, location and rooms. The lady who does in house baby sitting was excellent as well. Food at the in house restaurant is pretty appalling but some great restaurants are close by and you will live at Jason supermarket until you learn better. Plenty of places around as suggested. but it aint cheap so hope the company is paying or your loaded. I think the bill was about S$20,000 for the month.
