Dear Tennis Buddies,

Since you're all familiar with the place, we'll meet under the parasol and picnic chairs next to the court at 5.45pm.

Please Bring:
- Liquid for yourself as the weather is dehydrating enough without us running around!
- Tennis Balls
- Lots of Energy!

Aiming to rally at a faster pace this week!

Looking forwards to Sunday,
Wendy

Looking for partners to play in Singapore

Postby MatthewMcB » Mon, 12 Oct 2009 6:26 am

Hi Everyone,

I will be traveling from the US and vacationing in Singapore with my wife. I would like to play tennis 4-6 times a week. My wife doesn't play so I am looking meet some tennis players and have some fun.

I am probably a 4.0 (USTA) player ( I guess an intermediate player ) and would gladly play doubles or singles..mixed is just fine. I will be in Singapore from Oct. 20th till Nov. 5th and love tennis too much to leave it at home.

My hotel should have courts after the 23rd and on... we will be switching hotels on the 23rd and I am looking to book a hotel with courts...or I can meet at another place...

I would love to schedule as much as I could before my flight on Sun. Oct. 18th.

Let me know and we can work out the details. Easiest to send me an email NvisionNow@cox.net ..... If anyone has any suggestions of how to get lots of tennis in....let me know!

Thanks for your reply!

Tennis play

Postby MatthewMcB » Mon, 12 Oct 2009 6:41 am

Hi Wendy,

As I read, it looks like you are a big part of putting together some great tennis play.

I tried but could not send you a pm because I am new....Thought I would connect with you and see about getting in some tennis while I am in town.

Would you be kind enough to reply to NvisionNow@cox.net.

I have a note just above this one with some info.

Thanks

Matthew McBrien

Hi Matthew,

Thanks for dropping a message. If you've been following the thread, you'll notice that we usually play in daylight during the weekends.

If you'd like to join in, please let me know two days prior to the game so we can arrange the courts according to the number of players.

Wendy :)

Hi Matthew,

I'm out of town this coming weekend so I've not posted anything.

If you pm the dudes and dudettes in this site, I'm sure you'll be able to find a good tennis partner.

Have fun!

Wendy

Postby TennisBadmintonLover » Sat, 24 Oct 2009 5:27 am

Hi...I'm an intermediate male player who plays with quite a bit of topspin. Don't drive but can play in the East region, or anywhere accessible by MRT &/ bus.
Novice doubles player but seasoned singles player, don't mind either.
Look forward to playin! Pls get in touch.

Very flexible schedule, day or night.
