Potty training at night

Post by carolynW » Sat, 05 Sep 2009 10:13 am

Ok i need to tackle this next for my younger son, in SA, I was able to buy for my older son a large piece of flannel, very absorbent cloth (I should have bought 2 but I thought my older son could pass it down, he unfortunately still has accidents fm time to time), I brought it to spotlight, they said they don't have that, I am guessing maybe mothercare or other places (where?) would have this?

or what do people do? the flannel one I have is so absorbent and soft I do not need to put an extra plastic sheet. Any ideas or what do other mom's do?

Use pull-ups at night.

In the US they sell that material in the fabric shops (heavy cotton on the top with a plastic-y undercoating) cut to order. I found the exact same material sold in a cot size/single mattress size sheet in Mothers Work (Tanglin Mall or Great World)... but now they sell the same thing but a thinner fabric in IKEA. I bought a number of them for the kids mattresses (especially when they have stomach flu) - and you can take them when you travel to relatives if you are worried about accidents.
