Need someone to come pick up junk from my place. Furniture etc. Does anybody have a contact? Thanks.

Ask the security or maintenance guys at your condo, they'll be happy to make your stuff disappear in exchange for a tip ($20 or so, depending on how much crap you have).

I live in a house. Just about every day there are at least 3 or 4 trucks honking their bicycle horns. They will take just about anything except nuclear waste (maybe that, too). Flag one of 'em down.

It's called "Karung guni" the Malay phrase for gunny sack . . .
