Train Table for Thomas/Brio trains

Post by Lauren212 » Fri, 04 Sep 2009 9:00 am

Does anyone know where I can find a train table for my 20 month year old.for a Thomas/Brio train sets?

Toys R' Us usually has one by Imaginarium, but they say that they're sold out now (Forum/Paragon Malls) and that it will not arrive again until Christmas. I am looking for a low wooden one that has a drawer or two as well to put all the trains and tracks inside. Plan Toys (Thai brand) has one that's super expensive as you have to buy the table then the drawers underneath separately.

Any suggestions of other places to look for this table?

Thanks!

Not helpful but had you thought of buying it online and getting it posted. It will be quicker.

Yes, would love to buy online - is there a particular website that perhaps has shipping free to Singapore?

No idea. If I need something a few dollars will not stop me from getting it.

Why do you need free shipping? You are willing to spend extra for bottled water in a country where it's not necessary.

I have 2 friends here who either built it by themselves or had someone build it, they also had fun painting in the parts... will go check if they have more comments... my cousin's handyman apparently will do stuff like that too, not sure of cost tho.

Apparently my friend went to Ikea, bought a kiddie table, put in a foursided barrier with super glue then painted a lake, trees and roads, said it was absolutely easy to do it.

My cousin's contractor, Ah Qi 9857 3807, apparently will not turn down any large or small job, I haven to got round to calling him to help me build an area for my orchids. She says he is very reasonable.
