I know this is a bit of a cheek but times are hard!
Is anyone out there relocating to singapore from Hong Kong that might consider an old wooden opium bench and dressing table to be added to their shipment and I will pay you and collect from you.... the quotes I have been given for sending the 2 items to Singapore is about 20000 HK which is silly.
Otherwise any suggestions or recommendations please.

Thanks for your time, Belle

Hi Elleb, I think even if there is by chance someone doing this exact route you will be lucky… This is the same as carrying someone’s suitcase through the airport – a big No No… You sound nice enough but you could be an international drugs smuggler, specialising in stuffing opium table legs with err Opium :D

Thank you.
Any recommendations or suggestions on cheapest method of getting my bench and dressing table over from Hong Kong please?

Just how big and heavy are these things? Since I presume you're flying from HK to SIN yourself, is unaccompanied baggage an option?

For HKD 20,000, you can chop 'em into ten pieces, buy 10 return tickets on Tiger, bring them back a piece at a time and still come out ahead
