Hi all
Just a quick one - we are moving to Singapore this week. Not got any contacts there and would really appreciate if you could give me contact details for the following
1. Shipping companies to clear my container.
2. What areas should I be looking at to live in. A 2-3 bed apartment in a good location, good facilties with somewhere to walk a dog!
Many Thanks
Mark

Location - depends how much money you have.
Quite a few areas of Singapore, you won't find many 3 bedroom apartments under $1.5 million - as in £700k.
Siglap is very nice. Kind of suburby, but pretty close to the centre. Pretty middle class. Expensive though.
As in, even a small house you're looking $2-3 million. Apartments about $1 million. A lot of the houses in Siglap are worth closer to $10-15 million SIng dollars.

I think the word
letting agent indicates they are looking to rent.

Just looking through for similar advice and gee I hope there's not to much of this type of rudeness or bullying (or are you lot having a laugh). The original post does not use the term letting agent that I can see. Perhaps rents would have been more helpful to the average user though and they can be found in other sections on this site : )

The original post was changed - the OP asked for a good letting agency.
In re: to questions about location - best to do a search on the site first - it's been asked/answered time and time again in regard to price/families/transportation/schools/condos vs. landed houses... etc. etc.
After you've done a bit of research - definitely ask specific questions - you'll usually get very helpful responses.
Asking "what's a good area" is going to get a lot of flak.
