Mesotherapy?

Post by Starz » Fri, 15 Oct 2004 9:52 am

Has anyone had mesotherapy done on them? Does it really work? I'm considering it as I have very stubborn flab at my lower abdominal area which I can't seem to get rid off despite a healthy diet & exercise. I'm slim but after 2 kids not quite the same...

Checked the web for Singapore clinics & it brings up:
http://www.deepskintherapy.com/
http://www.sloaneclinic.com/

Prices are like $500 per session, which is really expensive. But I guess if it is effective (supposedly a permanent solution), then it may be worthwhile considering.

Anyone who has had it done, please give your views on procedure, pain(???!!), effectiveness, etc. Thanks!

A friend of mine tried mesotherapy and carboxytherapy. Carboxy would hurt more than meso. Meso is more expensive. I'm sure you have read up more on that.

You would have to go for multiple treatments to get rid of the flab. I would suggest that you try exercising first before trying that. That should be the last resort :)

Is mesotherapy used for spot reduction? Is spot reduction even a possible things?

Whenever I lose weight I lose my boobs. I have small boobs to begin with. But somehow the size of my thighs make up for it.
