Hard to definite caucasian and asian sometimes...

Post by macaroonie » Fri, 28 Aug 2009 5:38 pm

Hi Everyone
Wow there is such a long post about caucasians and asians but sometimes i really wonder what defines such groups. This is such a globalised world that we live in and i know that many people who may look asian on the outside grew up in the west or have known no other sort of existence and then when they come to Singapore it's really a whole new world to them.

I would love to hear the experiences of those not just Asian looking with a western upbringing but also anyone else who appears very different from the populace they live among at the moment but grew up in a totally different environment.

Food for thought...

Actually the time i spent out there, sunbathing for a year, gave me a permanent sunburn arse and all, apart from the flagstaff  and i'm amazed he doesn't have any wrinkles, is that really the only part of the body that doesn't get any older, or is it just when he's smiling?

Tell me some funny stories! I am sure there are many untold funny stories of westernised Asians out there who don't speak mandarin and have encountered some hilarious situations in Singapore!! :D
