Friday Night Dinners-Can start with Arab Street

Postby romulus_82 » Wed, 26 Aug 2009 9:53 am

Hi,

I have recently moved to Singapore from Mumbai...Age 27...Looking to meet more people and make new friends besides the work circle buddies....

Was wondering if people would be game for dinner get togethers on Friday evenings...Just before heading out to pubs and all...

We can start with the Arab Street outing this Friday and if the group hits out well, we can continue with these experiments...Infact, interested people from the group can head out to pubs also post dinner..

Drop me a line at varunume@gmail.com if you would be interested..

Cheers

As its the month of Ramadaan where all the people at dinner time had fasted all day I personally think you should give the Arab qrt a miss this month.

Its full but they all getting the meal of the day and trying to get a space to eat. I have even seen people sitting near bins eating as all the spaces has been taken.

So unless you heading out about 9pm I think out of respect for the Muslim people dinner time should be avoided this month.

My sincere apologies for ignorance... We can choose venues other than Arab Street, if we have a group who is interested to meet up..

~Apologies again
