Renuka,

You can visit www.starhub.com for details.

Just visit any starhub centre across the island you can get yourself a connection the same day.

Here the subscription is on a contract basis and a a bit different from the way it happens in India.

Hi,

I dont think you can get all those desi regional language channels that you are looking for. Here you get only Hindi, Malayalam and Tamil. No Telugu, Kannada or Marathi.. :(

1. Install TVU Player in your notebook, connect it to your LCD/Plasma/CRT TV via HDMI/VGA/S-Video.

2. Connect Audio-Out to Auxillary input on your Home Theatre System/AV Receiver for better sound quality.

3. Connect to internet.

4. Start TVU Player

5. In the drop down menu showing "All Languages", select the desired language and the list of channels available will be shown. If the channel is active, the link is highlighted. Click on the highlighted channel to enjoy watching. You may click on the + symbol shown on top right hand corner to add the channel to your favourites, so that you can simply click on the favourites to select the channel next time. It works just like Favourites on Internet Explorer or any other browser.

6. At the moment, only News channels are available in Telugu language, such as TV9, TV1, TV5, Sakshi Tv, A TV, hmtv. If you are lucky, you may get ETV or ETV2 or Zee Telugu or Gemini. All these are free channels. Of course, you can always subscribe to paid services to all the channels you wish to watch.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,
MG.
