Where to buy a dryer vent?

Post by MamaCass » Sat, 22 Aug 2009 6:44 pm

Hello Forum,

I've been here a month & have searched for a longer dryer vent (tube). Our dryer vents into the laundry area and I want it to reach out a window so our flat does not get so HOT!

I've looked at FIY, Mustafa's & several appliance stores. Any ideas where I can purchase this?

Many thanks for all those whom answer questions. You make living here so much easier! Be Well.

They have it for sure at Handyman Centre in Shaw Centre. Bought some there just a few months ago. They cut it to order, so know how much you need before you go. :)

Got mine at Rina's electrical in Shaw Centre but the hardware place in Shaw Centre has almost everything too. I think they came in 2 diameters as well, so measure the outlet as well as the distance to the window before you go.

Thank, thank you. I'm there tomorrow to purchase one! Can't wait to have a cooler laundry room.

There is also a large tools and parts hardware store at Ubi Crescent

Closest thing I've seen to a Home Depot in Singapore.
