[Thursday 20 August 2009, 9:10 pm] The driver of SBS Bus #175, suddenly hit a hard break before Opp Hong Wen School Victoria Street, causing a passenger thrown to the front, fell down backwards and hit right to her head.
The passenger was walking down the aisle to the back door and was trying to push the stop button. The weird bus design which I did not notice for what product advertisement has no stop button on every pole. so the passenger was reaching to the stop button near the back door.
Anyway, I'm quite concerned with the quality of the bus driver and I hope that SBS management will be responsible for the medical check up of this poor passenger, if there is any injuries on her head. At least 10 eyewitnesses were inside that bus.

An auntie fell backwards and hit her head in the SBS Bus
This could be a sore point, all drivers good or bad at some time will have to break harder than normal. You say there ten eye witnesses but that does not mean they all woulld have seen the reason the driver braked hard and he may well have had good reason to do so. The dilema for the driver is; in braking hard to avoid one accident another is created inside the vehicle. I think the issue is more with the design of the vehicle from what you have said so far.

yup I do encounter before bus suddenly the driver jam the brake
because he was driving quite fast ..suddenly the passenger press the bell
or at the bus stop suddenly the passenger wave for it
but this kind of cases is partly due to passenger fault.
some passenger I witness don;t advance press the bell expect the driver stop on the spot?
but some cases is really the driver fault..gee I don;t know how they pass their test ...
