The Zeenit and Vaucluse Show
Zeenit wrote:Moderators can you PLEASE ask Vaucluse to stop RACIALLY abusing me in a pm. Thanks.
Oh dear, the racist card . . . the last vestige of the incompetent . . .
A PM I sent was racially abusive? And you ask the mods to do something about it on the forum . . . in caps?
Ok, here are the PMs:
Zeenit (sending the first one):
See I am not white and therefor got treated like rubbish.
But thanks for jumping to conclusions
My reply:
I can tell from your use of English that you are not 'white', nor did I call you 'white'.
Thank you for jumping to conclusions.
I'll accept either SMS or Plavt as mods to go into my PM in- and outbox to verify. (Unless of course Mods have that ability anyway)
How easy to cry 'racist' . . . when you have nothing else.

Moderators don't have any type of access to PM's, nor would we want too. I sure wouldn't want anybody to have access to my PM's and I'm sure everybody here feels exactly the same way. It would kind of defeat the purpose of have "Private" Messaging then wouldn't it?
I'm sorry but I don't see any racially charged remarks. However the remarks about English was a bad stereotype. However, if you look at it, it did not disparage your English capabilities at all, it just indicated that your English was different. As is Singaporeans speaking and writing English. I don't here anybody hear screaming about racial problems when we talk about Singlish.
Let's not wear our feelings on our sleeves. The whole thread could have been precluded with a slightly different choice of header that's all.....
Something like "Whaaa! Such a rude Taxi Driver!" in stead of "Why are the Taxi drivers so rude"

SOME PEOPLE TRY TO TURN BACK THEIR ODOMETERS. NOT ME. I WANT PEOPLE TO KNOW WHY I LOOK THIS WAY. I'VE TRAVELED A LONG WAY, AND SOME OF THE ROADS WEREN'T PAVED. ~ Will Rogers
SMS, I wanted to avoid Zeenit, in her fits of hysteria, saying that I had altered the PMs.
Again, I will gladly hand you my password for you or Plavt to check that my quotes are correct and not in the least racist.
I am really getting sick of the knee-jerk reaction to anything as being racially motivated and derogatory.
Zeenit . . . you are a cow. (Now that could be termed as sexist, or anti-bovine)

Zeenit's error is in seeing racism everywhere . . . must be cool to have a chip firmly planted on both shoulders.sundaymorningstaple wrote: Zeenit's only error was .....
Hardly, Morenangpinay can't discuss her way out of a paper pag, to wit one of her last orgasmic replies.sundaymorningstaple wrote: Morenangpinay, agreeing also came under flack just because she is an Asian Expat and a couple people like to bait her because she's game and fights back which some here find a little hard to handle.
As for the Asian expat thing:

Oh, hang on . . .

Yeah, that why you have to cross examine here!
Your other half won't let you win. Actually, truth be know, you probably can't win against any of the girls in your household. The rest just smile at daddy and he's lost.

Even our Filipino nanny/maid chides me . . . and to think I give her Deepavali off instead of Christmas . . . no gratitude at all.
