Cycle communting around Orchard Road

I am going to be working near the Botanic Gardens, commuting to & from Orchard MRT. I'm hoping to cycle from nearby the MRT station to the Gardens, and would need to store a (cheap) bike at a nearby bike rack open to the public. Any suggestions here? [/b]
