1, Are you satisified with your result now? When did u do the surgery

No. Did in April 2009

2, Any changes to your nose shape from after the operation till now? eg, lowering of nose bridge, nose tip become undefined as time goes by?

After about 1 year, the tip has collapsed and became droopy. After consultation with the Dr who did my revision surgery, he said its actually the structure that gave way rather than resorption as the main cause. I would estimate resorption rate to be about 10%. The tip was also bulbous and i think was not well done. Also i find the bridge could be higher, he did have some leftover cartilage which he did not use. Also the scar over my chest become hypertrophied, like a caterpillar as the surgeon did not stitch up the wound, he applied steristrip across it, he did do a subcutaneous stitching though... When i asked him why he did not stitch it up, he replied the wound would do well with steristrip.

3, Who is your doctor? How much did he charge?

1st doctor was Dr Kao, i did not go back to him again as i m not confident he could give me the results i want.

2nd doctor is from China, did my revision with another rib (i gave up 2 ribs in all) and am pleased with the results, just that i need to go back for minor adjustment 3-6 months later as my skin elasticity was not optimal. My old scar was also revised and now my scar is just a thin line and not a caterpillar.

4, How long was ur recovering period

Give at least 6 months for swelling to subside. Nose will be stable at 1 year.

who is the second doctor of you?did he do a good job about the revision?if you dont mind can you share your story about the doctor.i want to have revision too,

thanks

rib revision

Post by asianflame » Fri, 28 May 2010 12:32 pm

for rossie_chan:

I gather since you are also looking for a revision that you are unhappy with your current rib nose? Would you mind sharing which doc did yours as well?

I am also looking for a revision and have decided on going to Taipei. Mine was initially done by a US doc. If you can PM me... perhaps we can trade details or discuss concerns?

Thanks!

i am very interested to know if anyone did ribs using donors here?

I am quite open with the idea of using a donor ribs as i dun see the need to use my own ribs and having a scar after.

Also wonder if dr kao is better or Dr hsu

Are you referring to irradiated homologous cartilage graft?
Using own rib cartilage is the best.

Prince Andrew woes a distraction as wedding nears

Post by yuzhiyi187 » Mon, 14 Mar 2011 4:56 pm

LONDON – Less than two months before a fairytale wedding anticipated by much of the world, Britain's royal family finds itself fighting an inconvenient distraction: revelationsnfl jersey that Prince Andrew, the queen's second son, is friends with a convicted sex offender, was photographed with a teenage prostitute, and has been accused of ties to Moammar Gadhafi's Libyan regime.

The Duke of York also hosted the son of the Tunisian dictator shortly before a popular uprising drove him from power — and the buildup of embarrassment has sparked calls that he be stripped of his role as special U.K. trade representative.

Buckingham Palace is in damage control mode as it attempts to keep the public's focus on the April 29 wedding between Prince William and tabloid favorite Kate Middleton, his college sweetheart.

British officials have rallied to Andrew's defense. The foreign secretary expressed his "confidence" in Andrew on Sunday, and a U.K. trade official voiced support for the prince to remain in the position, saying he does a "very valuable job."

But pressure is mounting and there is growing
nhl jersey speculation over how long Andrew can hang on to his post.

Andrew has courted trouble before: His much-publicized divorce from Sarah Ferguson, her subsequent missteps, massive debt, a tell-all interview and a videotaped attempt to sell a U.K. tabloid access to Andrew stand in stark contrastmlb jersey to the glow surrounding William and Kate Middleton's courtship and upcoming nuptials.

Since becoming a special trade representative in 2001, Andrew has also drawn criticism for reportedly taking lavish trips in his role as an unpaid trade ambassador.

The latest revelations in the Britishnba jersey media have centered on Andrew's friendship with convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein and claims that Andrew also had close ties to Seif al-Islam Gadhafi, one of the Libyan leader's sons.
