I am interested in autologous rhinoplasty surgery and have asked around.
No one has answered YET.
But I can tell you that autologous is the way to go for long term effects and has lesser concerns.
Just do it.
I am going to do it at Bumrungrad hospital.
Google it up.
yeegf wrote:hmmm.. Care to share your before and after surgery looks in TEXT?
you dont have to share photo. also tell me how your nose looks like now.
yeegf wrote:can only be one reason.
the shape was wrong.
he included the swelling as part of the nose.
maybe not enough cartilage.
Is it possible to remove the cartilage implanted and replace with a silicon one? Have you asked the doctor abt this?
Where and who did your surgery? How much?
Another guess is that.. you skill around the tip is so tight that is compressed the silicone >.< I don't know! just making a wild guess!
Or....
Silicone implant rupture..
You never reply the other question..pinkhil wrote:yeegf wrote:can only be one reason.

only ear cartilage alone as my original nose was not too bad ..so doctor said i dont need to use implant
go do a search on the forum. There are quite a number of pple who did their nose with rib cartilage...most of them in the thread plastic surgery in taiwan...pinkhil wrote:Hi. Those who have done rhinoplasty using autologous rib cartilage for more than 6 mths, Can you share your experience with us? To make it convenient for you to type and others to see , can you help to answer following questions in order?
1, Are you satisified with your result now? When did u do the surgery
2, Any changes to your nose shape from after the operation till now? eg, lowering of nose bridge, nose tip become undefined as time goes by?
3, Who is your doctor? How much did he charge?
4, How long was ur recovering period
The reason i chose 6 months as a guideline is I have seen some ppl with terrible reabsoption after they did the autologous rib cartilage rhinoplasty. There is one girl who I personally know have almost reaborbed completely after her 4 mths of surgery! She is considering a revision surgery now.
I am not asking her so because I want to do it too.Brenton wrote:go do a search on the forum. You have some personal feud with me?
Why everything I say you must start a rebuttal?
